One specialist, one outcome.
Ongoing ownership of your AI visibility, without handing over your whole marketing function. Every partnership starts with the audit. The tiers below are what happens after it.
Talk about fitThe specialist seat, not the whole department.
A standing engagement focused on one question. When someone asks an answer engine who to hire, is your name the one it offers?
In most businesses the answer layer is nobody’s job. That is the problem.
The audit tells you where you stand once. This keeps you moving. Entity architecture, schema, the copy and content that earn citations, and monthly measurement against the prompts your buyers actually type. How much of that we execute versus hand off is decided in the scope, because most businesses already have people doing the other work.
You are buying judgment, not hours.
An agency sells execution and measures activity. A consultancy sells direction and measures one outcome. The difference is practical, not cosmetic: it changes what you get billed for and what we are accountable to.
Sells execution
- Priced by deliverable volume
- Scope is a list of monthly outputs
- Success is activity: posts, links, reports
- Team runs a fixed playbook
- More budget means more output
Sells judgment
- Priced by the seat, not the output
- Scope is one outcome, defined together
- Success is whether AI names you
- Anna owns the work directly
- More budget is not the lever. Better decisions are.
Strategy always. Execution when you want it.
Most businesses arriving here already have people. Someone runs social. Someone bought ads. A developer built the site two years ago and it has barely moved since. You do not need those replaced. You need the answer layer owned, and how much of it we build ourselves is a scope decision, not a fixed package.
We tell your team what to build.
You get the strategy, the priorities, and specifications precise enough to hand to whoever already does the work. We review what ships and course correct. Best when you have a capable developer or agency and just need the direction.
We write it. Your team ships it.
We produce the actual assets: the schema, the entity copy, the page structures, the answer-shaped content. Your developer or agency puts them live. Best when your people can implement but should not be the ones deciding what to write.
We build it and put it live.
We do the work end to end inside your site, from schema and structure through the copy itself, and report what moved. Best when your site has been sitting still and nobody internally owns it.
Most engagements are a mix, and most shift over time. That is the point of a partnership rather than a package.
What the seat covers.
Every engagement covers all six. What changes is whether we direct the work, produce it, or ship it ourselves.
Entity architecture
Your business described the same way everywhere, so answer engines resolve one coherent entity instead of guessing between several.
Schema and structure
The markup and site architecture that let AI retrieve, understand, and quote you accurately.
Citation surfaces
The pages, profiles, and third-party listings that engines actually pull from, built and kept current.
Copy and content for AEO
What to publish and how to phrase it, shaped by the prompts your buyers type. Often this means reworking existing brand copy rather than writing more of it.
Monthly measurement
Real prompt data across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, tracked continuously. Every month: what changed, what we delivered, what it means, and what happens next.
Quarterly strategy review
A sit-down on what moved, what did not, and what changes next quarter.
The line is deliberate.
However deep we go on the answer layer, this engagement does not take over paid media management, brand development, sales enablement, or leadership of your marketing team. Those are what make a Fractional CMO partnership, and they are priced accordingly.
If you find yourself wanting one owner across all of marketing rather than one specialist on the answer layer, that is the signal to consider a Fractional CMO partnership. We will tell you when we see it.
Three tiers. Start where the audit points.
The audit comes first, every time. It builds your prompt set and takes the first reading, because no work starts before day-zero numbers exist. Six month minimum, move between tiers as your needs change.
The tracking, owned. Your prompt set runs monthly across the engines. You get a read on which prompts moved, what your changes did, and where the gaps are. Your team decides and executes.
Everything in Monitor, plus the priority plan and one production-ready brief each month: usually a page brief with the target prompt, structure, claims, and schema, sometimes the profile, review, or entity fix the data says matters more. Your team ships it. Additional briefs are $450 each.
We own the answer layer end to end. Entity architecture, schema, the citation-earning copy itself, and implementation scoped to your site. Strategy and execution, one seat accountable.
Who this is built for.
This is you
- You already market well and want the answer layer handled properly
- You have people doing social, ads, or the website and do not want them replaced
- Your site has been sitting still and nobody internally owns what it says
- You want one specialist accountable to one number
- You have done the audit and want the fixes owned, not just listed
This is not you
- You want someone to own all of marketing (that is Fractional CMO)
- You want to test whether paid traffic works (that is Launch & Learn)
- You want a one time read on where you stand (that is the audit)
- You are looking for the cheapest monthly retainer available
- You want deliverable counts rather than an outcome
Before you reach out.
Do you implement, or just advise?
Either, and the scope decides. Some engagements are direction only, where we set the strategy and your existing developer or agency builds it. Some are production, where we write the schema, entity copy, and content and your team ships it. Some are end to end, where we work inside the site ourselves. Most are a mix, and most shift over time as your team’s capacity changes.
I already have an agency and someone running ads. Does this conflict?
No, and that is the common case. This engagement owns one layer, and it is a layer most agencies are not doing. We work alongside whoever handles social, paid media, or the website, and give them clear direction where their work touches AI visibility. Nobody gets replaced.
Will this change our brand copy?
Sometimes, and usually less than people expect. Answer engines reward specific, concretely phrased claims, and a lot of brand copy is written to sound impressive rather than to be quoted. Where that costs you citations we will rewrite it, always for review before anything goes live. Your voice does not change. Its precision does.
How is this different from the Fractional CMO partnership?
Scope. The Fractional CMO seat owns all of marketing: strategy, paid, brand, content, and the team running it. This partnership owns one layer, your visibility in AI answers, however deep the execution goes on that layer. If you want a single person accountable across the whole marketing function, that is the Fractional CMO engagement.
Do I need to do the audit first?
Yes. The audit builds your prompt set and takes the first reading of where you stand. One reading is a snapshot. Monitoring is what turns it into a baseline, because the same prompt can return different sources from one run to the next. If you have a recent audit from us, we start from there.
What does the six month minimum buy?
Time for the work to register. AI systems need to crawl, retrieve, and trust changes before citation behavior shifts, and that typically takes 60 to 90 days at the earliest. A three month engagement would end right as the data starts becoming meaningful.
How do you measure it?
Real prompt data. Your prompt set runs continuously in AI visibility tracking software across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, and every month we report where you appeared, where you did not, and what changed. The metric that matters is whether you show up on non-branded questions, not on searches for your own name.
Will you take a competitor in my market?
Not on the ongoing tiers. One client per vertical per market, same as the Fractional CMO partnership, because the work depends on making one business the answer. The audit and Launch and Learn are defined engagements with an end date and are open to competing businesses.
Can I move up to Fractional CMO later?
Yes. The partnership work becomes the visibility layer of the broader engagement rather than being redone. We will tell you when we think you have outgrown the specialist seat.
What do you need from me?
A monthly working session, timely answers when we need business context, analytics access at onboarding so contribution can be shown against the baseline from day one, and a clear path to getting changes published. If we are implementing, that means site access. If your team is implementing, it means someone who can actually ship what we hand over. If your site is locked behind a slow vendor relationship, tell us in the first call so we can scope around it.
Strategy first. Revenue tied. Detail obsessed.
